Virtual Campus Task Force

What is a Virtual Campus?

A virtual campus, like other physical campuses within the OTC system has its own faculty and administrative or supervisory organization. This online option offers courses in educational programs leading to a degree, certificate or other recognized educational credential. The virtual campus differs from its physical campus counterpart in that it provides academic resources and support services for online students entirely online.

Why Virtual Campus?

During the May 2015 Strategic Planning Council meeting, the council established and commissioned the Virtual Campus Task Force (VCT) to address a key component of the institutions strategic plan found in Strategic Initiative #3. The initiative’s aim is to “Increase and maintain the college’s physical and online capacity to enhance student learning and success.”
