Business and Marketing - Associate of Applied Science

This program gives students general knowledge of business practices and foundational skills needed for entry-level positions in many industries. Students will have significant freedom to tailor their studies by choosing focused electives such as Retailing, Selling or Consumer Psychology. The A.A.S. in Business and Marketing is a versatile degree; program graduates find jobs in accounting, retailing, marketing, management and many other fields. Some graduates even choose to start their own businesses. This degree is designed for those already working or seeking employment immediately after graduation. Graduates who intend to transfer to a four-year institution to pursue advanced business studies should be aware that their transcripts will be evaluated and credit transferred on a course-by-course basis.

Admission to Ozarks Technical Community College is open to all individuals who can benefit from its educational programs. OTC may admit you as a First-Time student just completing their high school, GED or HiSET requirements or as a Transfer student coming from another institution finishing up a certificate or degree.
