Vanessa Germeroth became the Director of Online Student Affairs in February 2012, after serving as the Assistant Director of E-Learning Outreach and Assistant Director of Online Teaching and Learning. Vanessa oversees online student support activities related to academic success, learning experience, and conflict management. She provides input with online course scheduling and enrollment management; collaborates with Testing Services, instructors, and students regarding off-site proctoring; supervises work-study and part-time employees; and collaborates with other departments and institutions for the development of online articulation agreements and partnerships.

Vanessa began her career at OTC in 2006 as an adjunct instructor and later became a full-time Business & Marketing instructor. She then served as the Division Chair for the Business and Accounting division before joining OTC Online as the Assistant Director of Online Teaching and Learning. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Business Administration at Northcentral University, earned an M.B.A. from Missouri State University, and earned a B.S. in Marketing from Northeastern Illinois University. Vanessa is a graduate of the 2012 Institute for Emerging Leadership in Online Learning, a graduate of the inaugural 2007 Leadership OTC class, a Missouri Certified Educator, and a Certified Online Instructor.
