Re-admitted OTC Students
The following list should help you get started back at OTC. If you plan to enroll in summer and/or fall classes, the idea time to start the admissions process is early March. For spring classes, start the admissions process in early October.
Apply for Admission
Complete the application online. You will receive your confirmation letter within 10 business days.
Summer 2012 classes begin June 4. Fall 2012 classes begin August 18.
Apply for Financial Aid
For application information and OTC's school code, please see Financial Aid. The priority deadline for summer 2012 is May 1. The priority deadline for fall 2012 is July 1. Financial aid files will continue to be processed; however, students who submit required documentation after the priority deadline should be prepared to pay out of pocket.
Students pursuing Pre-Allied Health Programs have limited financial aid eligibility.

Complete Orientation
All new OTC students are required to complete orientation prior to meeting with an advisor and enrolling in classes. Orientation is strongly recommended for readmitted students who have been away from OTC for awhile. Start the online orientation.
Request Your Official Transcripts
High School Transcripts
All students are required to provide an official high school transcript or GED certificate. Students should submit official transcripts after high school requirements have been completed.
Students may schedule STAR and register for their first semester of classes without official high school or GED transcripts on file; however, official copies must be on file prior to registration for a second semester of class.
College Transcripts
Students are required to provide official transcripts from all colleges attended. This includes readmitted students who have attended other colleges since last enrolled at OTC.
Students with high school dual credit are required to provide official transcripts from all colleges awarding credit.
All official college transcripts must be on file to complete the admissions process; however, OTC has priority deadlines to ensure that transcripts will be evaluated prior to the start of classes. The priority deadline for summer 2012 is May 18 and the priority deadline for fall 2012 is July 20. Once all official transcripts are on file, they are evaluated in the order received. Students are strongly encouraged to submit official transcripts as soon as possible for efficient academic advising.

Attend a STAR Seminar
** All advising, including STAR, will begin mid-March for summer and fall registration.
STAR (STudent Advising & Registration) seminars are offered on the Springfield and Richwood Valley campuses and must be scheduled in advance. STAR is strongly recommended for readmitted students whose last date of attendance was prior to spring 2009. To register, see STAR.

If you will be a distance education student and are unable to visit one of our locations, please email Distance Advising. Be sure to include your name, the last 4 digits of your social security number and an explanation of your situation.
Register For Classes
The earlier you register, the more choices of you will have in class offerings and times. Summer and fall 2012 registration will begin in April. See Registration Dates.
Make Tuition Payment Arrangements
By registering for classes, each student accepts responsibility for payment of all tuition and fees due the college. Every student must make tuition payment arrangements by the final fee payment deadline to complete class registration. For a complete list of deadline dates, see Tuition Payment Information.
Tuition Payment Options
- Option 1 - Make an immediate payment with a credit card or echeck through QuickPay. Log in to MyOTC; Select the "Access OTC" tab; QuickPay.
- Option 2 - My Payment Plan. Select MyPay-Monthly or MyPay-Delayed Payment. You can register for MyPay MyWay AFTER you have registered in classes for the upcoming semester. The sooner you enroll with MyPay MyWay, the more payment plan choices you will have. Log in to MyOTC; Select the "Access OTC" tab; My Payment Plan.
Get Your OTC SmartCard
All students are required to have an OTC SmartCard. This will serve as your official college ID and as a debit card. If you are due a refund from the college, it will be applied to your SmartCard.
